Tell the government how the ban on LDA has impacted you
British Columbia Real Estate Association (BCREA) invites BC’s REALTORS® to tell the government how the ban on limited dual agency (LDA) has impacted them through this online survey.
Since the ban on LDA came into effect as part of the Rule changes on June 15, BCREA has heard many stories from commercial REALTORS® and REALTORS® working in smaller communities about how the ban has hurt both them and their clients.
Working with BC’s 11 regional real estate boards, BCREA has brought these concerns to the government and now the government wants to learn more. Following BCREA’s recent lobbying conference in Victoria, Government Liaison Days, the government has asked us to provide them with more information and specific examples of how the ban on LDA is hurting consumers and REALTORS®.
By completing this survey, you can help strengthen BCREA’s advocacy position. The feedback we receive will be used to inform the government about the unintended consequences of the ban. While it’s unlikely that the ban on LDA will be lifted, there is a willingness to revisit aspects of the ban.
The government is listening. We need your stories to share. The survey closes on Wednesday, November 27 at 5 pm.
